Procreate is a fantastic digital art app available to iOS users, and you can more quickly achieve the look you want with the right brushes.

1. Max Ulichney’s The Essential MaxPack.
This pack by Max Ulichney contains 11 brushes and a bonus smudge brush that make for realistic pencils to give a range of different marks.

2. Nikolai Lockertsen’s brushes from his Winter Scene tutorial.
Nikolai Lokertsen has this tutorial on Artstation Learning, and this brush pack includes the Procreate brushes he used to create the piece.
Watercolour Pack by Drifter Studio Print Shop.
If you want to get the watercolour look in your illustrations, this pack has 12 brushes to help you achieve that. It also includes a realistic water blending brush and tutorial videos.
Rusty Nib Distressed Ink brush pack by True Grit Texture Supply.
This is a brush pack I have been using frequently on Photoshop. There are a 130 distressed inking brushes that give a range between smooth and gritty looks.
Justin Gerard’s CARBON brush pack
I’ve been following Justin Gerard’s work for some time and stoked to see he has made his brushes available. These are designed to simulate the texture and shading of charcoal and chalk.
The Oils Powerpack by Siddheshwar Kumbhar
This pack contains 52 brushes to mimic the look and feel of traditional painting. Each brush is pressure and tilt sensitive and can be used to smudge, paint or erase.
Dry Texture pack by TrailHead.
This pack by Trailhead Design Co. has 30 dry texture brushes. They’re designed to work together to create dry brush effects often seen in children’s books, editorial spot art, and classic retro 1950s illustrations.
ColourLab Comic Color Kit by Retro Supply Company
If you enjoy the reto comic look, then this pack by Retro Supply Co. is for you. It has colour half-tone brushes, paper templates, print defect brushes and more. Also includes easy-to-follow videos to show you how to get the best of the pack.
Black Magic Half-Tone Brush Kit by RetroSupplyCo
Half tones are delicious. Here is another pack by Retro Supply Company that has 27 half-tone brushes, including pressure sensitive ones, and broken down by percentage.
Lane’s Pastel Pro Brush Pack.
Lane’s Pastel Pro pack for Procreate 5+ includes 48 brushes and tools as well as 35 natural paper textures to draw on. It also has a demo video with a voice-over.
