Also note that this tablet is not a stand-alone device. It must be plugged into a computer to work. This detail is sometimes missed.
As with most of the Artist Pro series, the 13.3 has a fully laminated display. This means the gap between the protective glass and the screen is minimal, and you will have almost no parallax issues.
The tablet also supports 60 degrees of tilt. Some brushes respond to the tilt of your pen, making the drawing experience a bit more natural, so this is a nice feature to have.
The famous red dial. Having a wheel on the tablet is a feature I’ve really come to like in my Deco Pro. It can be set to things like adjusting brush size, or zooming in and out , which is both convenient and satisfying.
You also get 8 customizable buttons to speed up your digital art workflow.

Wrapping up…
All in all, the Artist 13.3 Pro looks to be a really great digital art drawing tablet for very reasonable price. It’s currently $280 on Amazon US with the discount coupon applied.
13.3 is probably as small as I’d like to go with a tablet like this. There is however a 12″ option available too if you are looking for something that much more compact to plug into your computer.
Want something a little bigger? Then take a look at the slim and sexy Innovator 16, which, on Amazon US at the time of writing this, has a really nice discount coupon available. This edition of it also comes with a few extra goodies that make it a great gift option.
On that note, if you want to pair this drawing tablet with another nice gift to inspire the young digital artist, take a look at my post with some ideas.
